Sensor ensures early detection and in-depth analysis of weak signals, which are typical of an advanced cyber attack and impossible to detect by traditional means.
During the International Cybersecurity Forum 2016 (FIC), Airbus Defence and Space, a key player in the cyber security market in Europe, received ‘France Cybersecurity’ label for its Keelback Net sensor, which is dedicated to detecting and combating advanced persistent threats.
François Lavaste, Head of CyberSecurity at Airbus Defence and Space, said:
We are extremely proud to have received this endorsement today. This sensor is an innovative solution: it provides our customers with rapid detection and critical analysis of every hacking attempt – even the most elusive ones. It continuously gathers and quickly analyses signs of suspect behaviour in company networks, in particular low-signature ‘telltale signs’, which are impossible to identify using conventional means of detection.”
This label is not only a guarantee of quality and performance. It also assures users that these certified products and services are designed and used in France by leading players, and have clear and well-defined features.
All organisations, and in particular critical infrastructures and strategic industries, are targeted by an increasing number of sophisticated attacks designed to steal sensitive information or intellectual property from their targets. Airbus Defence and Space has developed the Keelback Net sensor precisely to fight these types of attacks more effectively.
